featuring the music of The Proclaimers.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Edinburgh, Sunshine on Leith follows the highs and lows of Ally and his friend Davy as they search for normality after returning from a tour in Afghanistan. Families, friendships and life are not all plain sailing in this funny and moving story about love and life.
Sunshine on Leith is a vibrant, energetic piece of musical theatre, loved by audiences and critics alike which had a successful film adaptation released in 2013 starring Jane Horrocks.
Backstreet Theatre Company are bursting with pride to be back performing their first full scale musical production since covid and can't wait to bring this heartfelt journey to our audiences.
Performing for the first time at The Red Rose Theatre in Rugeley on 26th - 29th November at 7.30pm.
