Never has Ray Cooney, the master of farce, been frenetically funnier!

Henry A. Perkins, a mild mannered accountant, accidently picks up the wrong briefcase - one full of money. Assuming it to be illicit cash, and that the Mr Big to whom it belongs will soon be looking for it - Henry rushes home to book one way tickets for he and his wife to Barcelona. This throws a spanner in the works for the planned dinner party with friends to celebrate Henry's Birthday, and the unexpected arrival of not one but two different policeman, joining the increasingly confused taxi driver Henry had already booked, leads to chaotic scenes of confusion and mayhem as Henry tries desperately to keep his plans on track, at and least some of his unexpected windfall.
